Waka is the part of a kava plant that is the lateral root (waka). Waka is darker in color and has a distinct Fijian peppery taste.The effects with Waka are almost instant and long lasting. First Time Vinaka

I have been mixing for 14 years. This is my first go with Vinaka Waka. I had a great mix, I felt like it hit me perfectly. I enjoyed the relaxation but maintained the mental clarity - which is what I look for.

Solid, but nothing amazing.

I have been referred here by the kavasseur and I had high hopes for this product. I don't really get any numbing of the lips or mouth. It barely takes the edge off and doesn't really calm me down. I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel anything at all but I was expecting a lot more from this kava based on reviews and other things. It's still a solid product but just let down from all the hype around it.
