Lawena

Creamy and light. Nice mouth feel. Never distracting while allowing me to focus when working. Great for taking the edge off. I found it perfect to start an evening session with Lawena and then work into a stronger Kava like Chief's Choice or Waka. This kava is also great for blending with others. Highly recommended!

This is my favorite lawena from anywhere. It's fairly strong and great for anxiety, and it even tastes pleasant. The flavor is very mild and it has a creamy appearance when strained. It never gives that feeling of edginess or stomach issues that other kavas give.

Nothing completes a gorgeous day in the sun like a few shells of Fijiian kava. And sometimes, a few shells becomes a great many. Kava Vinaka's prized Lawena has a light and creamy mouth feel and tastes best when it's a bit cooler than room temperature. This kava invokes calm and clarity, and not at the expense of alertness or focus. I see this Lawena as having potency on the ends of the spectrum that don't have the opportunity to shine through on heavier varieties. Great on it's own, and also blends nicely with other kavas, namely Kava Vinaka's Waka and Chief's Choice varieties.
This is a kava you can drink all day and into the next. When I have a stocked cupboard, I find myself reaching for this Lawena the most.
